Be Assertive: A Support Group for Women

communication, assertiveness, support group, female empowerment, group therapy

Find your voice and learn to communicate more effectively with the support and companionship of others who truly get it! In this group, we will gain insight into how attachment experiences and societal influences have shaped our communication through sharing our stories with each other. Together, we’ll clarify our wants, needs, boundaries and values in order to gain confidence in speaking up for ourselves. By engaging in group discussions, learning communication tools and practicing with role play, we will gain the ability to be assertive.

This group is meant to be a sacred space to be your authentic self; dig deep, learn, laugh, feel empowered in a welcoming environment. Come as you are, whether in sweats or your favorite outfit. We’ll sip tea, light candles, and create a sense of connection and belonging.

Meet Your Facilitator: Caitlin Beckwith-Ferguson is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who conducts therapy using attachment theory, socio-cultural awareness, and a feminist lens. She is passionate about helping women advocate for themselves in order to experience greater autonomy, pleasure, and more meaningful connections.
